YOUTH ACTIVITIES
WELCOME TO HIGHLANDS WAR!!!!!
We are happy to be providing a safe and fun place where all children can come and play and learn. We have an exciting array of activities planned for the children. The Youth Center will be offering arts and crafts, games, playground time, stories, and puppet play, too.
Youth A&S Classes will be offered in a designated area in the Youth Center. Please check with the Youth Staff and the Gatebook for a list of classes and times.
Please come and see the skills and talent our Youth have entered into the Youth A&S Competition.
YOUTH CENTER HOURS: Friday and Saturday, 9:00 am–4:00 pm.
In order to have this year's Highlands War be successful we need VOLUNTEERS. If you would like to help out or have a neat project you would like to share please contact me. We love all VOLUNTEERS but we really need adult VOLUNTEERS to help out 18 years or older. We are also looking for musicians, story tellers, singers, and other performers.
CHILDREN LOVE TO LEARN!!!!!
NOTE TO PARENTS: THE YOUTH CENTER IS NOT A DAYCARE OR BABYSITTING SERVICE. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for their children at all times. Parent and legal guardians are expected to know that there will be NO adult supervision at the Youth Center before 9:00 am and after 4:00 pm.
- Young people will be allowed to come and go at their leisure. Therefore, if a child is not safe to navigate the Highlands War grounds alone, we recommend proper supervision remain with the child.
- We ask that parents remain with their children under the age of seven years and do not leave them unattended at the Youth Center. A child under the age of 13 is not viewed as an age appropriate guardian of younger children left at the Youth Center.
- Appropriate behaviors and adherence to Kingdom Policies are expected. See Kingdom of Atenveldt Kingdom Youth Activities Guidelines.
- Weapons, live steel, and/or illegal items are not permitted at the Youth Center.
- Youth Combat weapons are welcome; however, they may only be used during Youth Combat activities.
- We are not responsible for lost or broken personal items.
