Special Events
 

There are many traditional and one-of-a-time tournaments, competitions, and artisan activities held during the Highlands War each year.  These “Special Events” often require use of a particular location at the site, or special site services, and people usually wish the event included on the Highlands war schedule. Examples of Special Events held in past years:

  • Heavy combat, rapier, and youth combat tournaments
  • Siege weapon competitions and tournaments
  • Target archery competitions and prize shoots
  • Equestrian competitions and exhibitions
  • Hound coursing competitions and exhibitions
  • Teas, dances, arts and bardic performances or competitions

To reserve a location and get a Special Event onto the Estrella War schedule shown on this website and in the Gatebook distributed when people arrive at the event, you must complete the Special Events Form below, and send it to the Special Event Coordinator at least 45 days before you arrive at the event.
